My name is Lauren Parker, Im 18 years old and I am a first year student at Nottingham Trent University. I'm studying Fashion Management as, yes you guessed it, I love fashion. My ambition is to become a buyer but for now i'm enjoying the life of a fresher. Like any teenage girl I love to shop and I'm always spending money I don't have on a new wardrobe. I've gone through a lot of changes recently and have been thrown down a completely different path to what I was on this time last year. I've moved from my hometown of Cambridge and into the city of Nottingham where I've had to learn the 'student life' of clubbing, assignments and an overdraft. 2013 was a roller coaster of a year for me and possibly the hardest of my life but with 2014 comes a fresh start with new opportunities. So here I am starting a new blog, with a new outlook on life on a journey to see where this year takes me.
I would like to dedicate my blog to a very special someone who once said in a letter to me "I thought about it and I honestly think you should start writing a blog again or make your own website... because I know you CAN do it." So this is for you Rhys Franklin.
